Had a nice week, but a bit warm for mid-Oct. Temps seems to be changing now though.

Colors couldnt have been more perfect though.

“Absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. It felt homey from the start. Not only was it fully equipped (except for sheets and towels), but it was a gorgeous set up. We used the fire pit (s'mores!) and gazed at the star-filled sky, and visited Lake Placid (35-40 min drive). The cabin was within a reasonable distance from main attractions. I only wish they had WiFi (just so I could look up directions before leaving the cabin). Other than that, the secludedness of the cabin is great! I wish I could have stayed longer! Will definitely consider renting the cabin again for future getaways. ”

As for our stay, we could not have stayed in a more perfect place! It was exactly what we had been looking and our expectations were well met, actually exceeded! We talked about making it back up there next winter to do some snow boarding and rent snow mobiles, hopefully we can.

We had an amazing time at your log home, the area is breathtaking!. It is even more beautiful than your website suggests! The house had everything we needed and we will absolutely be back. We went snow-tubing about 40 mins away, although the name of the place escapes me. The staff at the snow-tube lodge was so sweet, what a great little town!

Hi Bruce,

Had a fantastic time! Great Cabin....unique, very quiet and secluded, which is just what we were looking for. Got some pictures of about 2 dozen deer grazing by the hangar. I have been recommending the cabin to those that would appreciate it.

Thanks again for the extra night. It was very relaxing to wake up and already be there.

We had a great time, the pictures on craigslist don't do the cabin justice. Trails were good from the front door and conditions were perfect for cross country sking. Thanks again! We would like to come back again. If the week of April 18th is available we would like to reserve some time that week. Please let know.

Good Morning Bruce

We enjoyed our stay at your beautiful log cabin.

The surrounding acres was like having our own park to walk in. It's my first day back to work in Manhattan and it's a bit of harsh reality after being in a slice of heaven the last four days. I am working on relocating upstate soon. We have been visiting Clinton, Essex and Hamilton counties for the last several years but have decided that Clayburg and the surrounding towns would be our location to build a house. We will keep you and your construction company in mind.

Your log home was wonderful! We had a great time!

We left earlier than expected today. Just wanted to let you know in case another group is checking in this afternoon.

The area in the northern Adirondacks is simply beautiful. We hiked Silver Lake yesterday. We'll have fond memories of our stay in your home. As I type this, snow is falling. Quite a treat for life long Texans!

Bruce, we want to thank you for the great stay we had at your log home.

It really tuned out fantastic! We enjoyed skiing and snowboarding at both Titus and Whiteface Mountains. Our visit to the historic city of Montreal was worth the ride.

And the log home... what can I say... it left me speechless the moment I walked in. The only thing that was missing was a horse for a sleigh ride in the snow!

The cabin itself is gorgeous. I cannot think of anything that I would change. I love the size, the layout, the granite counter tops, fixtures, floors, etc. Very nicely done!

Our favorite part of this trip was the hike to the summit of Silver Lake Mountain (not too far from the cabin).

Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciate you letting us bring our dog. He especially loved the tall grass and the apples. :)

We cleaned everything really good, vac, dusted and cleaned the bathrooms. All angie really had to do was do the laundry. I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful time we had. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cabin with

us...... everything was fine and our family New Year could not have

been better. Didn't realize until we got there that we had forgotten

a cork screw for our bottle of champagne...... our daughter (just

home from over 2 years in Mozambique in the Peace Corps) showed me

how to improvise using one of your screwdrivers to drive the cork

into the bottle! We left everything as we found it and took our trash

with us rather than leave anything that animals could get into.

We will tell others about your web-site, including friends

from NC and VA. Your Saratoga blanket and the

Saratoga glasses were hints that you know our town as

well.... maybe our paths will cross someday.

Your place was so clean and beautiful. Very quiet and serene.

The gas fireplace is a great touch.

Although secluded in Saranac, this gave us access to

Plattsburgh and Lake Placid

with an easy drive.

We even went up to Montreal!!

We want to come back and stay in the summer.

We can't believe you actually rent out your new home.
